SETIN Srl and Interamna Forge Alliance for Advancing Sustainable Development Initiatives

SETIN Srl, is thrilled to announce the formalization of a long-term strategic partnership with Interamna Group Inc., a well-known Toronto-based organization that specializes in project design and evaluation. This collaboration marks a critical step towards strengthening environmental management and promoting sustainable development globally.

This partnership is defined by a fusion of expertise and mutual commitment to environmental sustainability. SETIN Srl is excited to join forces with Interamna to contribute to the Integrated Blue and Green Islands Program, setting groundbreaking benchmarks in holistic environmental conservation. Camillo Ponziani, President and CEO of Interamna, shares the same enthusiasm and emphasizes: “This partnership with SETIN Srl represents a fusion of expertise and commitment towards environmental sustainability. Our recent successes in Liberia and Nepal are just the beginning. We are excited to contribute to the Blue and Green Island Integrated Program, which will set new benchmarks in integrated environmental conservation.

Our recent collaboration resulted in the successful completion of mid-term evaluations for two critical projects funded by the Global Environment Facility (GEF). In Liberia, we focused on natural capital accounting to gain a better understanding of the country’s rich coastal biodiversity and to preserve it. In Nepal, our evaluation focused on landscape connectivity, which is crucial for wildlife conservation, critical tiger landscapes, and ecosystem health.

SETIN and Interamna have initiated an ambitious venture in collaboration with the International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN). Our goal is to develop two projects funded by the Global Environment Facility (GEF) in the Federated States of Micronesia and Palau. These projects are part of the innovative Blue and Green Islands Integrated Programme, which seeks to harmonize marine and terrestrial conservation efforts. Alessandro Piazzi, Partner at SETIN Srl, shares his excitement about the collaboration with Interamna, stating “Collaborating with Interamna aligns perfectly with our vision of impactful project design and evaluation. The synergy between our teams has already shown promising results in our recent evaluations. We look forward to bringing our combined experience to the forefront in the Federated States of Micronesia and Palau, creating a lasting impact on global conservation efforts.”

This partnership symbolizes the commitment of both organizations to promote sustainable development and environmental conservation. By working together, we pledge to create and execute groundbreaking solutions that make a substantial impact globally. Our goal is to actively contribute to cross-border initiatives that drive positive change on a global level.
