#Project – Final Workshop
SETIN is proud to contribute to the External Final Evaluation of the Ianda Guiné! Programme in Guinea-Bissau, under a subcontract with DT Global, within a consortium led by PROMAN, and headed by Giacomo Cozzolino.
The evaluation assessed the relevance, effectiveness, sustainability and long-term impact of EU-funded interventions supporting rural development, food security, agricultural production, rural infrastructure and community resilience across Guinea-Bissau.
On 11 May 2026, the final evaluation report was officially submitted to the European Union Delegation to Guinea-Bissau.
As part of the final phase of the assignment, a workshop is scheduled for June in Guinea-Bissau, bringing together institutional partners, technical stakeholders and development actors to present and discuss the main findings, lessons learned and strategic recommendations emerging from the evaluation process.
The evaluation highlighted the importance of integrated territorial approaches, investments in rural infrastructure, strengthened agricultural value chains and local governance mechanisms in promoting more resilient and sustainable rural development. Through this assignment, SETIN reaffirms its commitment to supporting evidence-based evaluation processes that help strengthen development cooperation, improve programme performance and inform future interventions in fragile and rural contexts
