From 18 to 27 November 2025, the SETIN Environment team gathered in Rome for a team-building event designed to reinforce collaboration and strengthen internal coordination across ongoing and upcoming assignments. The initiative created space for structured dialogue, exchange of expertise and peer learning among colleagues.
The programme featured dedicated sessions on AI applications, procurement case studies, a GEF focus day and internal coordination activities. These discussions supported a collective reflection on processes, challenges and opportunities, ensuring that technical insights and operational experience are shared across the team. The event also contributed to consolidating a common understanding of priorities and working methods, supporting a more integrated and coordinated approach across projects.
Beyond the technical content, the team-building served as an important moment to reinforce SETIN’s collaborative culture and strengthen interpersonal connections between colleagues who interact daily from different locations. The in-person format provided a valuable opportunity to enhance communication pathways and mutual support mechanisms, laying the groundwork for even more efficient cooperation moving forward.
