SETIN has started its participation in the Target Gender Equality programme, promoted by the United Nations Global Compact, reinforcing its commitment to fostering a more inclusive, equitable and responsible organisation.
Through this initiative, our colleagues Lorena Picinini and Catarina Mota are taking part in a structured process focused on assessing gender equality within SETIN. The programme provides an opportunity to examine existing roles and organisational practices, strengthen internal understanding and identify concrete areas where further progress can be achieved.
As part of this journey, they also participated in an in-person event held in Milan. The event offered an opportunity to engage more closely with the programme, exchange experiences and connect with other organisations committed to advancing gender equality in the workplace.
SETIN’s participation in the programme represents an important step in translating its commitments into meaningful action. The knowledge and insights gained throughout the process will support the organisation in identifying priorities and developing practical opportunities for improvement.
